Our Project is a small urban devel opment based in Auckland. The design Process has been driven by THREE fundamental principles that underlie every decision made re garding the development process, such as site selection, building design, and material selection. These principles opt for a way of living built on energy efficiency and thermal comfort. The adaptive technologies are used to allow our clients to choose their best level of comfort. The client can create a comfort ing internal environment using adaptive and controlled strategies with the Like blinds-fusion vertical bi-folding louvre system. On the northern side of the building, they allow for sun control and become an eave when fully opened. On the eastern side of the building, the vertical slates allow for glare protection from the morning sun. Louvres are also used on the sunroom, roof, allowing clients to choose and control the principle within our building.
