Urbanity is a custom Rhino plugin developed to streamline early-stage urban planning and site feasibility analysis. Built using C# and the RhinoCommon API, the application provides an integrated dashboard for calculating key development metrics including site area, building coverage, floor space ratio (FSR), density, and walkability. The tool allows users to interact directly with Rhino geometry, selecting site boundaries, building footprints, transit nodes, and public open spaces to generate real-time planning insights. In addition to analytical functions, Urbanity features a modern dashboard-style user interface inspired by contemporary design software, project management tools, and automated PDF reporting capabilities. The project combines urban design knowledge with software development to create a practical decision-support tool for planners, architects, and developers.
